Enrique Marty - Dank and Dismal

February 24 - April 6, 2008

After Aim at the brood, the much acclaimed installation Enrique Marty (°1969) made at the gallery in 2006, the show Dank and Dismal is a second chance to discover the work of this remarkable Spanish artist. Aim at the brood could be read as one mental space, with every work physically and visually integrated into one grand- scale installation. In Dank and Dismal, Marty used works in diverse media, all of which are playing a more autonomous role: watercolours arranged in series, large oilpaintings on canvas, sculptures, and an animation movie.
