Scanning 1991

August 31 - September 29, 1991

Where the previous edition from the series of Scanning exhibitions gave an image of a somewhat coherent art scene, this exposition offers more pronounced individual points of view.
In ‘Scanning 1991’ Deweer Art Gallery presented two very different artists. The Dutch Ansuya Blom appealed because of her very deep, mystical experience of a world that, although we know it, we’ve never seen it before. The American Keith Brumberg, seduced us through his critical adaptation of the contemporary visual culture. Both artists have developed a very specific, individual world and the corresponding imagery.
