Alfred Hofkunst

The basic and the starting point for the first show with Swiss artist Alfred Hofkunst was a series of small pastel drawings entitled ‘Seestudien’. They were studies for a series of 24 paintings the artist had shown in Aarau. The studies had seduced Mark Deweer because of their subtle balance between figuration and abstraction.
