At Arco 09 DEWEER gallery will present a selection of works of art by young Belgian sculptor Michaël Aerts, Stephan Balkenhol, Wim Delvoye, Jan Fabre, Ilya & Emilia Kabakov, Spanish artist Enrique Marty and – last but not least – the young French painter Benjamin Moravec.
DEWEER gallery brings together a number of important pieces for Arco 09. Highlights are Stephan Balkenhol’s new bronze sculpture Male Nude (2008), Wim Delvoye’s tattoed pig skin Emma (2005), Jan Fabre’s self-portrait I Drive my Own Brains II (2008), Ilya & Emilia’s model of their magnificent outdoor installation The Fallen Sky (2006) and Enrique Marty’s new sculpture Rocker (2008).
